The first tournament of 2008 took us to the Kajun Sportsman in Fourchon Louisiana where we weighed a 31.11 and had some fantastic memories of “the big one that got away”.  Our Junior lost a 60 - 65 inch King 15 feet from the boat following a 75 minute battle and our lady angler brought a 9 foot hammerhead along side, after being sick all day in six foot seas.  Next, we went to the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo and scaled a nice 36.20 lb. Kingfish.  Then we were off to Biloxi where we weighed a very nice 43.52 lb King taking third place in open while our Lady and Junior Angler took First Place HonorsOur second year on the Southern Kingfish Association Division 7 trail ended with us holding on to eleventh place earning the team another invitation to the National Championship in Biloxi.  The 2008 Championship provided very rough seas and cold weather.  We were very happy to have participated in the event as we managed a 71st place finish in a field of 300 boats.

Our first tournament ended with us weighing in two kingfish, a 43.59 and 44.10 lbs during the June 2007  Kajun Sportsman in Fourchon Louisiana.  We finished 26th in a field of 112 divisional boats.  During the 2007 Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo the team finished ninth place with a Kingfish weighing in at 44.51 lbsTournament staff stated that 3013 anglers attended in over 500 boats.  Then we were again off to Fourchon where our Junior Angler took Second Place Honors with a 29.95 lb KingfishOur first year on the Southern Kingfish Association Division 7 trail ended with us holding on to tenth place from a list of 112 boats earning the team an invitation to the National Championship in Biloxi.  We finished our first Championship in 73rd place from a field of over 350 boats with some of the top saltwater fishing teams in the Nation.
